Join me on this three-night backpacking photography workshop to the top of the world-famous Amphitheatre. I will take you to some of the best spots to photograph the valley and the impressive rock face of the Amphitheatre.
Spending time with like-minded people, participating in photographic creativity in a place like the Drakensberg is hugely enriching. With a specialist photographic tour, you can visit some of the most beautiful locations – safe in the hands of someone who knows the area and can guide you to well picked out spots. Knowledge of the location is a huge bonus. My job is to get you to the best spot at the right time so you only need to worry about taking a great image. The Drakensberg is a huge playground for landscape photographers and there is a lot out there that has not been captured.
I will ensure everyone gets exactly the level of support they need and be on hand to offer help when needed. Clients are free to explore and enjoy the environment they are in.
Unfortunately, I can not do any post processing on the hike, but I will be sending you video tutorials after we have completed the hike.
On day two we will leave at 4:00am so that we can reach our sunrise destination. Here we will have breakfast and coffee before summiting via the chain ladders and finally setting up camp close to Ribbon Falls. (4-5 hours hiking)
